Project Pedestrian 2027?
A moving-image project about walking, combining solo experiences with walks with other pedestrians, inquiries into the conditions for walking, and experiments in working with moving-images.
In 2026 when this website was created, Project Pedestrian is in the production phase. I’m hoping to have something finished in 2027, though the nature of what that will be is still to be determined: a series of shorts? and/or a feature essay? and/or an installation? Time will tell.
The video above is an excerpt of the first walk recorded for Project Pedestrian: a walk across Paris from Montmartre to Montparnasse to visit the tomb of the great filmmaker Agnes Varda.
